About

The Jalapeno Tree

is a family-owned full-service restaurant with a passion for Crazy Good Mexican Food. We strive to create a family-friendly environment with a focus on fresh food, quality ingredients, and exemplary service.

Celebrating 30 years of business has allowed our Pepper Posse® team to create unique food experiences using fresh, healthy ingredients in a made-to-order scratch kitchen. From our sizzling fajitas to our new hearty bowls, The Jalapeno Tree knows how to serve up the best Mexican food around.  We know rice and beans are a must for Mexican Food but, we like to change things up with offerings of squash/zucchini, tortilla soup, and Key West veggies as optional sides.

As a locally owned business we pride our self in partnering with our communities and schools to promote education, extracurricular activities, awareness and support. The Jalapeño Tree provides discounts to Police, Military, and Veterans every day of the year. We sponsor the Red Cross and first responders with food. It’s our thank you for the bravery and dedication to our country.

We enthusiastically thank East Texas for allowing us to live our passion for Crazy Good Mexican Food and continuously welcoming the Jalapeño Tree as a member of the community. The Pepper Posse® doesn’t make the magic happen alone and thanks our staff, managers, and vendors for all their hard work and support.

Our matriarch

Pepper Posse® member.

Say, ‘hola’ to Ana. Ana has the tough job of keeping all the other Pepper Posse® members in line. She is always on top of her game – making sure the freshest ingredients are used and food is served piping hot, by our attentive and friendly staff. Ana would love to welcome you, your family and friends to The Jalapeno Tree. Ana also wants to remind you to not forget about dessert! She prefers the skillet apple pie with ice cream.
